hello!

my name is laura, and i am a twenty four year old who's just trying to navigate this crazy life- thanks for coming along! i tend to ramble, but i'll try and keep this short. i describe myself many different ways, but here's a few:

first and foremost, i am a proud follower of Jesus Christ. although i'm not, and never will be, perfect, i'm learning how to seek Him first in all things.

second, i have the privilege of being a wife to my high school sweetheart, spencer. we have been together since august 2011, and got married november 12, 2016!

i'm a proud baylor alumni (sic 'em bears!) and have loved waco since before chip and jo built the silos downtown. i have my masters in speech pathology, and currently work in early intervention (if you want to read more about my journey as an slp, check out this post)

my husband and i broke the cardinal rule of newlyweds, and got a puppy six months after we got married. i am now a proud, overly invested dog mom to our mini aussie named sooky.

growing up with my family on the opposite end of the country, i'm used to hopping on planes here and there multiple times a year. this has created a love for travel and an extremely long bucket list.

i love my friends fiercely, even though they're spread all over the country. it makes for great excuses to take fun trips all over!
