Valentine's Outfit Guide- you don't have to wear pink!

okay, so i normally color coordinate for holidays, but try to in a subtle way. for christmas one year, i wore a gold dress with a red cardigan, and this year i wore a black dress with a green ribbon in my hair. when it comes to valentine's day, i usually prefer to wear pink or red accents rather than a red dress or pink shirt. my husband sneakily booked me a massage, and is going to cook me dinner, and i'm trying to decide what to wear for our dinner together. even though we're staying in, it's still fun to dress up! let me know what you think!

my plan this year for whatever outfit i choose, is to wear bright red lip color! in these pictures, the red i'm wearing is a lipsense shade called fly girl. i have always been scared to wear bright colors on my lips, but i found a product that will stay on my lips and not smear which makes it easier to wear! let me know if you want more info, i'll write a different post on that product :) onto outfits!

i found this particular dress on poshmark, and can't find the exact same brand of dress. what i like about this, is you could wear it with wedges, boots, or fun heels depending on where you're headed. i linked a similar dress and some fun shoe options below the picture.

this outfit allows me to show off my husband's awesome gift giving abilities! he got me this adorable bra for christmas, and this shirt is on sale right now for FIVE DOLLARS YALL! i'm wearing a medium, and would recommend sizing up because it's pretty short. victoria's secret doesn't have this exact style anymore, so i'll link some other bras and bralettes i think would look cute!

i had to put at least one outfit with some pink in it! all of these pixie pants are on sale right now, and i love this top to wear year round. i paired this outfit with the bootie wedges, but you could also wear flats or heels.

this last outfit is super casual, with bright red lips and fun pink shoes. i love this top, because the off-the-shoulder paired with a three quarter sleeve is perfect for portland right now. this shirt is sold out, but i linked on that looks super similar and is under $10. paired with high waisted jeans and wedges could dress it up, but i'm loving these slip ons!
